Anti-reflective lenses have improved mar and scratch resistance because of a special "Ion Plasma Technology" that maximizes the hardness of plastic lenses. It also makes lenses easier to clean and maintain. So your investment in your eyewear is protected. You can see the difference in the photo. The left side of the lens is conventional plastic and the right side is Oc2®. The entire lens was rubbed with steel wool.
